How do I use the DALI graft syringe?
Please refer to the image below for usage instructions. A description of the process is:
Usage with the Syringe
- Tap the syringe to loosen the powder.
- Remove the outside cap. Do NOT remove the 5-holed filter cap.
- Hydrate with saline, patient’s blood or surgeon’s preferred antibiotic solutions.
- Push the plunger to remove residual fluid through the 5-holed filter cap.
- Remove the 5-holed filter cap.
- Fill Bone graft into the site by pushing the plunger.
Usage without Syringe
- Remove both the outside cap and the filter cap, and pour the powder into a sterile dish.
- Hydrate the powder with saline or patient’s blood.
- Fill the graft into the site using a sterile spatula.

Is the DALI bone graft syringe the same as the Raptos syringe?
Yes. This bone syringe is substantially equivalent to the Raptos syringe. Both are mineralized cortical-cancellous bone in a syringe. The only difference really is that the bone in this syringe is 250-1000 microns, while the bone in the Raptos syringe bone is 250-850 microns. Also, the bone is sourced from different tissue banks.
