The DALI One Allograft Plug is your One-Step Grafting Solution for socket preservation! Simply place in socket and suture, and you are done! If you have any questions about the DALI One Allograft Plug, please review our FAQ below. Do you see your question answered? Please feel free to open a new topic to ask a question.
What is DALI One Graft actually made from?
DALI One Graft is proprietary mix of Demineralized Cortical Bone Fibers, along with bone particulate cortical/cancellous in both a mineralized and demineralized state. What is the size of the DALI One Graft?
The diameter of the DALI One Graft plug is .75 and length is .75 and the weight is .75gr.
Do I need to use a membrane with DALI One?
When it comes to use in extraction socket cases, the DALI One Plug was designed to be used in sockets with four walls and/or where you achieve primary closure. If the buccal plate is missing, and/or you cannot achieve primary closure, it is likely that a membrane will be required to protect the site. Any standard resorbable membrane (3-6 months resorption time) should be sufficient in this situation (you can use a non-resorbable membrane, as well, of course).
Is the DALI One Graft only indicated for extraction sockets?
No. DALI One is an allograft mix, so you can use it in any case where you would normally place bone particulate and a membrane. With that being said, the primary indication of DALI One Graft is for your standard socket preservation case, i.e. 4-wall extractions. When used in these cases it reduces or eliminates the need for a membrane and greatly simplifies the procedure. See the question above about use of a membrane. Can DALI One Graft be used with PRF or PRP?
Yes! You can use it with both and in fact cortical fiber has outstanding absorption of PRF. Does DALI One Graft expand into the site?
Yes, we typically see a 30% expansion into the socket within 20 seconds of placement of the DALI One Graft. Is DALI One 100% allograft? No Fillers?
Yes! DALI ONE Graft is 100% allograft and has NO fillers. Will I need to hydrate DALI One Graft? What's the hydration time?
Generally, you do not need to hydrate the DALI One graft as typically the blood will hydrate it upon insertion into the socket. However, some clinicians prefer to hydrate it prior to insertion. You can hydrate it with sterile saline, liquid PRF or however you desire. On average hydration time is 20 seconds. Do I need to suture the DALI One Graft?
Yes! We recommend a simple X suture over the top. Will the patient have any issues with bone pieces after placement of DALI One Graft?
No. As DALI One Graft is made from cortical fibers, there are no loose particulates in the DALI One graft. The fibers hold the particulate in place. Does DALI One Graft have any hemostatic properties?
Yes. The demineralization process brings forth the collagen due to the acidic decalcification. Mainly type IV and type X.
